Ramadan Iftar

Experience the month of Ramadan in Marrakech with the locals

Do you wonder what it’s like when Moroccans break their fast at the end of the day in Ramadan? With this tour we’ll walk the streets of Marrakech before the end of the fasting day to explain what’s going on and see how people prepare. Then we’ll break the fast with Moroccans. Traditional foods are served as well as an evening meal. There’s no set menu as things change as the family decides but we can adjust in advance if there are allergies or dietary preferences.

While we have some flexibility with late guests on other tours, with this tour it is vital that guests arrive at the appointed start time. Because the fast breaking happens at an exact time, we need to leave to ensure an on time arrival.

Dietary Restrictions

This tour is suitable for:

  • Vegetarians

We keep our group sizes small so that you have an evening out with new friends and not feel like you’re being shuttled from place to place. If you’d prefer a private tour we are happy to arrange this as well.

This tour does require a minimum of 2 guests; we may cancel and refund if the minimum is not met, or suggest an alternative time.

This tour does include some walking in the medina and may include steps. We advise our guests to wear good shoes for walking and also be prepared for crowds.  Tours last approximately three and a half hours.

Please be prepared to arrive on time, this is essential for this tour as the timing of the fast breaking is at an exact time.
